Seniors

Help serve seniors who are alone and need support. This ministry includes doing house and yard work, minor repairs, and being a friend to a senior who may have no one else to turn to. Here are a few ways you can get started in participating in a ministry to seniors:

• Check out the Ongoing Opportunities to Serve. These are listed by City, so you can see which are nearby or which are in an area you’d like to be involved in serving.

• Look for new opportunities in your area and develop your own area of ministry. This could be a mobile home park or a senior center.

• Consider serving by yourself or as part of a small group you belong to, or with your own family members.

• If you want to link up with others who share a passion for ministry to seniors, contact the ACTION Ministry Center.
