Partner agencies give us valuable insights into areas where Christian volunteers can play an important role in helping to meet the most pressing needs. One of our key priorities is to facilitate long-term partnerships between leaders, congregations, and agencies for assessing and addressing community needs. Each ministry has its own agency partners, so we will not list them all here. But, we have listed a few as examples: Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentoring for foster youth, as well as other youth from single-parent families. Catholic Charities Serves under-resourced families, the homeless population, seniors and disabled residents. Lutheran Social Services Serves under-resourced families, the homeless population, seniors and disabled residents. Many Mansions Provides housing for under-resourced families. Ventura County Human Services Agency Serves foster youth, under-resourced families, the homeless population, seniors and disabled residents. Ventura County Area Agency on Aging Serves those who are age 60 and older. In addition, we partner with the following Agencies: Childrens Hunger Fund Help develop an outreach feeding ministry in your church Christian Foundation of the West CFW helps donors, churches, ministries and professional advisors promote Smart Giving. Hope For Long Beach Extending mercy and justice in their city through mobilizing the church to serve and by developing strategic partnerships. Jesus Blanket A project to freely distribute warm blankets called Jesus Blankets as a way of helping those in need and helping them know Jesus. One2Believe One2Believe generously gives to ACTION’s Christmas Shoppe outreach. Check out their Christian action toys. Ten Four Ministries Providing practical and spiritual support to the law enforcement community of Southern California.
