ACTION Volunteer Staff Opportunities

ACTION has opportunities for you to volunteer at the Ministry Center and in other roles that help support the ministry. Some examples are:

•   Warehouse Inventory Management: track items being stored
in our warehouse

•   Grant-Writing: identify opportunities to apply for grants and work with ACTION leaders to develop proposals

•   Ministry Center support: answering phones, stuffing and addressing envelopes for mailings, etc.

•   Serve Weekend Leadership Team: help plan and coordinate
Serve Weekend

•   Foster Care Ministry Leadership Team: help provide oversight and coordination of this ministry to foster parents, children and youth.

•   Christmas Shoppe Leadership Teams: there is a separate team for each of the 4 Christmas Shoppes (Oxnard, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, Newbury Park). This team helps plan and coordinate the collection of donations and the staffing of the Shoppe.
